What is MyCAP?
MyCAP is a student-centered, multi-year planning process designed to provide students with ongoing opportunities to plan for their academic, personal/social and career success in high school and beyond.
Who should have a MyCAP?
MyCAP is intended for all students beginning as early as sixth grade and continuing through high school!

MyCAP at SMS
6th grade students will start their MyCAP journey in their Master Class. Students will explore topics around personal development, career development, and academic planning. They will upload artifacts to the MEFA Pathway, which students will continue to add to through grade 12.
For parents, MEFA Pathway offers an insightful window into a student’s progress, plans, and priorities. We encourage you to log on regularly with your child to engage together with the many facets of the tool and for helpful reminders and announcements about important dates and events.
